Debris from the stricken Rena has made its way to Hawke’s Bay beaches.

Hawke’s Bay Regional Council staff found two silver food pouches containing fish and soy bean on Mahanga Beach last week.

Anyone who suspects they’ve found debris from the stricken container ship, is urged to contact the council’s pollution hotline.
