The Florence Freedom will have two players starting the second half of the season as Frontier League All-Stars in the professional baseball league. The Freedom had three players selected to play the game July 11 at Normal, Ill.

BEDFORD — Liberty received a dominating pitching performance from Cassidy Henlsey, some clutch hitting and a timely double play to squeak past Turner Ashby 2-1 Tuesday in the Region III quarterfinals.The Minettes (15-7) advance to play the Northside/Staurts Draft winner on Thursday at Jefferson Forest at 5 p.m.
